TOOP Newsletter no. 4

TOOP newsletter - issue no. 4

Introduction

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the fourth edition of the TOOP Newsletter! The early autumn was marked by a number of important events related to the ‘once-only’ principle, including the adoption of the Single Digital Gateway Regulation (SDGR) by the European Parliament on September 13 and by the Council of the European Union on September 27. The ‘once-only’ principle was also prominently featured at the High Level Conference on Digital and E-Government, part of the Austrian Presidency of the EU Council.

However, the rest of autumn is expected to be even more eventful for the project, as it will be featured in a range of events: from the Web Summit in Lisbon, which will be held  between November 5-8, through Govtech Summit, in Paris on November 12, to the ICT 2018 conference in Vienna on December 4-6, along with a number of other events. It has now become clear that the ‘once-only’ principle has been firmly established as a key item on the agenda of policy makers in the EU and beyond. TOOP will lead the effort in bringing the ‘once-only’ principle to practical cross-border application in Europe. We thank you for your support and wish you an interesting read!

How CEF Digital supports the 'once-only' principle
